Southpaw BBQ Reclaimed Tabletops, Counters, Entry Way
It was important for us to use recycled materials in creating Southpaw. We also wanted to create a warm inviting atmosphere. Working with Heritage Salvage has been a phenomenal experience. Not only did they help us choose the best reclaimed wood for each aspect of our restaurant they also helped us in our design process, and explained the story and origins behind all the wood. We love sharing the stories with our customers. I am so impressed by their creativity and the craftsmanship of their woodwork.", Elizabeth Wells owner Southpaw BBQ

They Needed
Southpaw BBQ opened on Mission Street in San Francisco November, 2011 serving southern bbq and comfort food. Elizabeth Wells wanted a restaurant with a sustainable warm interior for her debut. She found HS, and we worked closey to help create a fantastic atmosphere that is sustainable and inviting!
We Delivered
Heritage Salvage crafted reclaimed wood table tops from Fioppiano tank wood, a bar top from a Walnut slab with a facing from Hops Warehouse purlins, a chef counter from a Walnut slab with steel inlay, and for the entry way we used reclaimed cedar from Ohio, and topped it off with a custom made sign from rusty corrugated metal and hot rolled steel.
