Original Float at the Petaluma Butter & Egg Days Parade on April 29th, 2006

Heritage Salvage built a float celebrating Petaluma's Heritage and the 100th anniversary
of the Dale Carnegie Library.
We built "A Bug's Barn" - an eclectic garden shed - out of reclaimed Petaluma
barns for the annual Butter & Egg Days Parade. Many thanks to all those who joined together to help make it
happen. Scott & Chris our construction crew, Steven rebuilt the mini-trailer caboose that Barber Ironworks
welded together, Thomas Schrek lent us his very cool 1955 Studebaker and Rick drove it, Gaby Lala sang &
played accordian, Ian was our "reader", Oona & Rianna, (the NaNas) handed out redwood seedlings to the
crowd, Nova painted signage, and special thanks to Susan Villa of the Petaluma Museum for her support!!!
