1st Place for Most
Original Float at the Petaluma Butter & Egg Days Parade on April
29th, 2006
Heritage Salvage built a float
celebrating Petaluma's Heritage and the 100th anniversary
of the Dale Carnegie Library.We built
"A Bug's Barn" - an eclectic garden shed - out of reclaimed
Petaluma
barns for the annual Butter & Egg Days Parade. Many thanks to
all those who joined together to help make it
happen. Scott & Chris our construction crew, Steven rebuilt
the mini-trailer caboose that Barber Ironworks
welded together, Thomas Schrek lent us his very cool 1955 Studebaker
and Rick drove it, Gaby Lala sang &
played accordian, Ian was our "reader", Oona & Rianna,
(the NaNas) handed out redwood seedlings to the
crowd, Nova painted signage, and special thanks to Susan Villa of
the Petaluma Museum for her support!!!
