WordUp! Fair Comes to Petaluma
WordUP! FREE Community Learning Fair debuts Sunday, October 30th, 2011 11am -6pm at Sonoma-Marin County Fairgrounds in Petaluma. WordUP is Literacy Works in action, an organization dedicated to learning.
Bring your curiousity and choose to learn something new from up to five Learning Lounges: Health Up!, Green Up! Village Up! Skill Up! MixIt Up!
Learn from North Bay experts how to build bird houses, set up gray water plumbing, improve your health, cook new recipes, become a DJ, write a story, drum and more! There is something for everyone, kids included.
Everyone is invited to come together to delight in a day of community sharing, learning, and entertainment.
Also enjoy music by amazing bands, fantastic speakers, including Author Anne Lamott, and don your Halloween Costume to enter the contest!
Lifelong learning keeps us healthy, vital and alive, so come out and learn with us!
Thanks to LiteracyWorks Executive Director, Paul HeavenRidge, the team at Clementine Eco Events and the amazing volunteers and contributors that are helping to make this WordUp Fair happen. WordUP!
